The HSC was founded in 1990 and its goal is the highlighting, study and protection of the herpetofauna in Cyprus. Part of the work of the association includes presentations, educational seminars, nature outings, study and research of reptiles as well as other actions related to the information and awareness of the public to the reptiles of the island.
